Plastic pipes in sanitation

tuberías plásticas
Plumbing and sanitation

Pipes made in plastic materials have been completely introduced in the sanitation piping market, rendering obsolete all the other options that existed up to now.

In keeping with our commitment to the environment, we want to work with materials that consume little energy and minimize the emission of toxic gases into the atmosphere.

For these reasons, Llaberia Group is committed to making installations in sanitation networks that contribute to a sustainable planet. Plastic pipes represent all these principles and provide many benefits that have made that, today, are so instilled in the vast majority of this type of facilities.

Benefits of plastic pipes in sanitation networks

  • Flexibility in case of possible settlements of the pipelines.
  • Easy handling and greater agility thanks to their low weight.
  • Saving of staff and machinery thanks to the low weight of the plastic material.
  • High resistance to abrasion due to the low roughness of the interior of the plastic pipes.
  • Plastic material hardly oxidizes or corrodes.
  • No possibility of incrustation inside the pipe.
  • Very high resistance to most of the products present in wastewater.

Main materials for plastic pipes

  • PVC-U, PVC-O and PE pipes (compact wall)
  • GRP pipe
  • PE, PVC-U or PP structured wall pipes

Plastic pipes use

Drinking water, gravity sewer, indoor pressure sanitation, vacuum sanitation, wastewater reuse, irrigation, micro-irrigation, industry, deep platform drainage, submarine outfalls, rehabilitation of existing pipelines and trenchless installation, among others.

PVC-U compact wall pipe use

Water supply, sanitation or drainage, water reuse and agriculture.

PVC-O compact wall pipe use

Drinking water supply, sanitation (internal hydraulic pressure), agricultural irrigation, wastewater reuse.

PE compact wall pipe use

Drinking water supply, sanitation (by gravity, under internal hydraulic pressure or by vacuum), agricultural irrigation, wastewater reuse, micro-irrigation, industrial applications, submarine outfalls, house connections, deep drainage for roads or other infrastructures, rehabilitation of existing pipelines, installation of pipelines without trench opening, among others.

GRP pipe use

Drinking water supply, sanitation (by gravity or under internal hydraulic pressure), agricultural irrigation, wastewater reuse, industrial applications, hydroelectric power systems, trenchless pipeline installation, etc.

Structured wall pipes (PVC-U, PE, PP)

Whether they are made of PVC-U, PE or PP, they are used for sanitation networks or also for buried sheet-typed drainage. Do not use in case of applications with internal hydraulic pressure.
