Mention of the highest quality product, Llaberia-Klinger gaskets,at Cubagua
Recently in the last edition of the Cubagua fair, the hydraulic company has received a mention of the best quality product, for the new Llaberia-Klinger gaskets, a new gaskets that adapt to the installation and that does not need to be retightened.
Consolidation own prevention department
Llaberia Group consolidates its own internal prevention department by obtaining the two certificates necessary to carry out this activity: OSHAS 18001 and the own Prevention Service certificate, granted by the company Impremet. This fact has made it easier for the company to work with large companies and without the need for the intervention of third parties.
New corporate image
A corporate makeover is made and the brand is boosted in the digital realm. As a result, the Marketing department is consolidated. The brand name becomes Llaberia Group, rather than Llaberia Plastics, which is kept only as the Official name of the company
Gold medal for the highest quality product, PP-R, at Cubagua
They receive the gold medal award for the highest quality product, the PP-R Fire, plastic that replaces carbon steel pipes.
New store in Tarragona
New store in the Francolí, polygon of Tarragona with the intention of expanding its client portfolio in a wide area that can reach the Penedès, as well as make sporadic customers in the area be stable.
Great progress as installers
The crisis brings new visions to the company in the field of installation. Apart from the search for new international markets, the fact that public works were very scarce, makes the company look for new challenges mainly in the field of the environment (landfills, composting plants, sewage treatment plants, treatment stations drinking water, …), as well as in the field of fire protection. These two pillars are the ones that give a new perspective on the future in the company today.
Start of the INTERNATIONALISATION process
Preventing a possible crisis nearby and supporting from management to an international vision, Llaberia Plàstics formalizes its export department in 2010. Since then, we have been actively working on finding new customers. In relation to this, the company makes an extraordinary investment in the laboratory equipment for quality controls and tests of manufactured products, thus obtaining quality certifications such as ISO 9001, WRAS and ACS “Attestation de Conformité Sanitaire”.
PIMEC Awards for “Best Competitive Trade”
This same year they received the award for the “Best Competitive Trade” of the PIMEC Awards and the “Ser Botiguer” of the Cambra of Commerce, Industry and Navigation Awards of Reus.
New Installation
New structure of 5500 m2 in place of the previous. 3600 m2 for sale to the professional of the hydraulic sector and 2000 m2 to offices, meeting rooms, conference rooms and warehouses. Due to a larger area in the new establishment, new products are incorporated to the sale and a self-service sales system is implemented, exposing all the items available to the customer. It began investing in technical training of products for public sales personnel to offer better advice to customers.
New production ship
A production ship of 3000 m2 is built replacing the previous ones. They incorporate two injectors to manufacture PE parts becoming the only company in the state that develops this activity. Expansion of the workforce up to 40 workers. Investment continued in unique machinery in the Spanish state to weld large diameter plastic tubes and fittings. In installation we start working for large construction companies of civil works and public works. Constitution of a new independent company of Llaberia Plàstics S.L. called “Llaberia Obra Hidráulica“, where part of the workers would become part.
Own manufacture
First machine for the own production of manipulated parts of PE (polyethylene). In front of a growth int he demand for these items was conditioned an existing ship together acquisition of new machines to expand PE’s range of manipulated pieces.
Progress
This activity progressed successfully, increasing the volume of installations and the sale of some accessories.At this new demand, in 1986 a small establishment of 340 m2 is built for sale.
Beginnings
Llaberia Plástics S.L. was founded in 1994, but its beginnings date back to 1979. The company had a workforce of three and was diversified into different activities, mostly the irrigation installation in the agricultural sector and gardening in the regional area.
