Don’t you know what to plant in February?
We’re just entering the penultimate month of pure winter and cold, but that doesn’t mean that our vegetable garden should be left without affection. Today we’ll talk about what we can plant during February so that our vegetable garden doesn’t get left behind during the months of cold 😊.
February is a fantastic month for our garden and orchard. There is already a great variety of possible crops, we begin to have more hours of light as the day gets longer and so our crops will grow faster.
However, let’s not forget that we are still in winter, and we may be caught off guard by a frost, which is something very typical of this time of the year. So, we must be careful with this.
If your thing is outdoor planting, we recommend growing radishes, garlic, carrots or beets.
Seedbeds
On the other hand, if you have a seedbed, at Llaberia Group we recommend planting beans, lettuce, leeks, chard and/or arugula.
Whether your seedbed is heated, or you have an indoor seedbed it is then the perfect time to plant tomatoes, peppers, eggplants or zucchini.
Finally, February is also the perfect time to transplant lettuce, arugula, chard and lamb’s lettuce.
