In a few days it is Christmas and many of us have already decorated our homes with Christmas decorations and a beautiful Christmas tree for days. But maybe some people haven’t had time to do it yet, or who want to do something really original this year. How about creating a nice PVC Christmas tree?
We don’t have to always fall into the clichés, we are free to innovate, and create ornaments ourselves and for this reason, we believe that creating Christmas decoration from plastic pipes is a great idea.
In this article we give you 3 different ideas, which you can apply your way, according to your tastes and time.
Christmas tree with PVC plastic tubes.
It is about creating a Christmas tree, frame type, using different PVC pipes of different thickness. The process of realization is not very complex or necessary too many utensils.
What do you need?
- You’re going to need a board or surface that supports the tree. This way you can save it in better conditions and count on it for upcoming Christmas.
- PVC pipes of different diameter
- Adhesive tape
- Silicone bars
- White paint or color you like,in spray. Golden, red, or combine, is also a good choice. (Use a paint that adheres well to the paint)
- Tools: saw to cut pipes, a sandpaper, tape measure and a silicone gun.
Steps:
- First you will have to draw on the surface a triangle of the size you want, from which you will create your tree. Mark it up with duct tape.
- Cut a lot of PVC pipes with the saw. Cut them with varying diameter to have different measurements. Remember that the tubes must be about the same size of height, about 8 cm.
- Once cut, pass the sandpaper to remove irregularities and get a cleaner and more careful result.
- Now you are ready to spray paint the tubes with the colors you have chosen!
- When it’s dry, you can place the tubes inside the triangle you’ve drawn with the silicone gun.
- And finally, all you have to do is cut a tube longitudinally to make it the trunk, remove the duct tape… AND READY!
Decorate the inside of the tubes with what you want and what you like the most! It’s all yours!

Original PVC Christmas decorations
In the same way that we created the tree we could create different Christmas decorations. Like for example ornaments to hang on a traditional Christmas tree, and thus give it the original touch. With only three tubes of different sizes and a red ribbon we could create a snowman that would look great in the tree. You just have to let your imagination run wild and you’re sure to be able to create fantastic figures!
